Reiki Spiritual Healing

There are many types of Reiki spiritual healing techniques available today.

Which one is effective?  Which one is the most powerful?  Which one will benefit you?  Does it really work?

These were the questions I was asking myself when I was first researching the different types of spiritual energy healing.

They may be some of the same questions you have.

Each spiritual healing technique I learned built on the one before.  You get the benefit of everything I learned via this site.

I will start with what would be considered the foundations of Reiki called Usui Reiki.  Usui Reiki is the first type of spiritual healing I learned.

Usui Reiki:  The Foundation

Usui Reiki is the most basic type of Reiki spiritual healing.  It is often called Reiki.  This was a type of Reiki that was developed by a Buddhist monk Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900s.

It is a form of alternative health that uses laying on of hands.  In some ways, it is similar to acupuncture.  In both practices, the practitioner facilitates the removal of blockages to the chi or ki in your body thereby restoring health

Usui Reiki differs from acupuncture though.  Let us get the full definition of Reiki before proceeding.

Rei means universal which refers to the spiritual dimension and the soul.  Ki means vital life force energy that flows through all things.  The combination of the two words, Reiki,  stands for universal life force energy

How Can You Benefit From Reiki?

Reiki energy allows the practitioner to become a conduit of intelligent, universal healing energy to clear blockages in the human energy field and chakras.

It is best to set an intention, develop faith, and surrender to the highest and best form your intention will manifest.

In Reiki spiritual healing, it is powerful to set an intention ahead of time. The quote by Buddha states: "With our thoughts, we make the world."

Reiki enhances many kinds of medical treatments, and can speed the healing process.  However, it is not a substitute for medical care.

Rather, Reiki facilitates the manifestation of whatever intention you have.  It is like peeling away layers of an onion.  You may experience nothing.  You could also experience a life changing event.

In addition, Reiki can be used for purposes beyond facilitating restoring health.  Reiki can be used to enhance any area of life you desire to focus on.  A Reiki session will impact you spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Reiki can do no harm.  This is the most gentle of the Reiki systems.  If someone has not received Reiki before, their initial session is an Usui Reiki session just to get them used to this type of alternative health system.

My Experiences Of Reiki Spiritual Healing

I did not use Reiki on myself very much at first.  However, I did give many people Reiki sessions.

I gave one person some Reiki, and she reported that it helped her become clearer, more focused and able to study for her exams more easily.

Candles and flowers creating a relaxing ambiance. Many people feel very relaxed after a Reiki spiritual healing session.

There have been many people who have found Reiki to be very relaxing

For myself, I found Reiki spiritual healing to assist me in releasing a lot of emotional baggage that I was carrying around.

In addition, I found myself becoming more and more sensitive to the impact of the food I eat

I could literally feel how food made me feel if I heated it up in a microwave versus a toaster oven.

The result is that I am able to make better choices in food which helps my energy.  Now, I still do eat burgers (without the bun) and fries from time to time.  However, I eat a lot more home cooked meals than before.

In addition, I have used Usui Reiki, in combination with other forms of Reiki, to facilitate the manifestation additional money.  I share that story on the Spiritual Energy Healing page.
