After a great energy healing session, you might wonder, “why am I feeling tired after energy healing?”
You may not always feel this way, but I think it is important to know some of the things you can expect after a session or even a coaching session.
If you are having an energy healing session, you may be feeling tired after energy healing due to a number of reasons. Energy healing sessions are very relaxing.
I once had a deep tissue massage where the practitioner likely also did some energy healing like Reiki Spiritual Healing. I left that session pretty wiped out.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that my sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system had been stuck in fight or flight for quite a long time.
It happened to be that the deep tissue massage helped release long standing stress that was still stuck in my body.
Keep in mind that after a long session of energy healing or even energy healing after encountering a situation where you had chronic stress could help you release that stress. In such cases, this is like you body saying, “ah, I can relax now.”

When getting extra sleep, my recommendation is to go to bed no later than 10:00 pm your time. For those of us who like to stay up late, I know that can be hard. I have had a nutritional coach suggest that getting sleep before midnight allows for a deeper and better sleep. I have personally felt more refreshed when I go to bed by 10:00 pm.

To help you get a better rest, stay away from caffeinated drinks. If you feel you must drink something caffeinated, try to minimize the amount of caffeine you are drinking. You will have a deeper, more refreshing night of sleep.
Let yourself take the time to rest and regenerate. Do what feels right for you.
Energy healing is a wonderful way to relax and destress. Before you have a session, I would recommend that you talk to the person facilitating the session to find out what to expect. They may also provide recommendations that could help further mitigate feeling tired after energy healing.
Currently, there is very limited scientific studies on reactions to energy healing. In many cases, you could expect symptoms to clear up in a few days.
